Ron Hayes

Ron was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee.  When he was 12, he moved with his family to Michigan and Ohio.  He worked for Xerox for 28 years and in 1988 transferred back to Tennessee and the Tri-cities area. He retired in 2006.

He has been interested in art since childhood and has been actively painting for about 40 years.  He has done some work in watercolor, but paints mostly in oils. Most of paintings are landscapes of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.  He is mainly interested in subjects in the Hawkins County area, where he and his wife, Linda, have lived sinced 1989.
